Mark Allen Slaughter, born July 4, 1964, is an American singer, songwriter, and musician, best known as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the glam metal band Slaughter. Emerging in the late 1980s, the band gained fame with their debut album, "Stick It to Ya" (1990), which featured hits like "Fly to the Rainbow" and "Up All Night." Their energetic sound blends elements of glam rock and hard rock, characterized by catchy melodies and powerful vocals. Slaughter’s music career began in the band Vinnie Vincent Invasion before forming Slaughter with drummer Blas Elias, guitarist Tim Kelly, and bassist Dana Strum. The band's follow-up album, "Fear No Evil" (1992), solidified their status in the rock scene, producing tracks such as "The Wild Life."
